Razor’s latest scooter concept is the caster driven ride represented by the Razor RipRider 360 Caster Trike, the Razor Siege Caster Scooter or the Powerwing Caster Scooter. Awarded "Family Fun" Toy of the Year in "Parents" Best Toys, the drifting and spinning make the Razor RipRider 360 Caster Trike one of Razor's top selling releases in the "caster trike" category. The reinvention of the classic 3-wheeled Big Wheel of the 1970's does not disappoint, and the Rip Rider 360 rides like no other - thanks to dual inclined caster wheels. The casters allow resistance-free drifting and spinning action, and the freewheel system invites incredible coasting speeds. And the super-cool, steel framed design will make on-lookers dizzy as you spin-out. If you thought spinning out on the Razor Scream Machine was cool, wait 'til you try the Razor RipRider 360 Caster Trike. See for yourself what all the fun's about... The Razor Siege Caster Scooter has all the makings of a Razor kick scooter but with a twist - the rear wheel is a 360 degree inclined caster wheel and the deck is twistable. You can ride it like kick scooter or you can twist and propel forward - either way, you're in for a fun rippin' ride.

The Razor PowerWing Drifting Caster Scooter is a one-of-a-kind three-wheeler powered by caster wheel technology and comes in 4 models: the Red/Black Powerwing, the Pink Powerwing, and the Powerwing DLX. The Razor Powerwing has won the Mom's Best Award and the iParenting Media Award.

The PowerWing is easy to control and offers exceptional maneuverability, allowing for side drifting and spin-out actions. The patent-pending design features casters that allow for drifting and acceleration without pushing. Sideways body movements propel the scooter, allowing for increased activity and maneuverability – without ever having to push!

The Razor PowerWing three-wheel design provides beginners with extra security and stability, making learning to ride fun, safe, and easy. Both the Siege and the PowerWing are highly portable and easy to transport and feature a folding mechanism for convenient storage. The PowerWing scooter comes with standard safety features like handbrakes and high-performance ABEC-5 bearings. The PowerWing Drifting Caster Scooter and the Razor Siege Caster Scooter are easy to assemble.

The RipStik, commonly misspelled as Ripstick or Rip Stick, is a caster board, which looks similar to a skateboard, but moves like a snowboard or surf board. Made by Razor USA, the recommended age is 8 and up. The Ripstik board only has 2 wheels, which swivel 360 degrees. Instead of a solid deck, the RipStik has two independently moving “deep concave deck” plates connected by a bar in the center.

The rider of the Ripstik Caster (sometimes misspelled as “Castor”) skateboard can accelerate and turn without pushing off the ground. Instead of propelling the ripstik forward by pushing off with one foot, like with a skateboard, a Ripstik rider can simply mount the board and move forward by twisting or pivoting the deck plates creating a unique carving motion.

According to ConsumerReports.org, “RipStik was well-liked by most of our testers. Within minutes, the kids were able to get on and ride the RipStik. The consensus from the kids was that learning to ride a RipStik would take a few hours, and to get ‘really good’ would probably take a couple of weeks. Most of the kids were able to do simple tricks like wheelies after an hour or so... The kids, most of whom were relatively new to ‘boarding,’ told us that RipStik is extremely popular among all their friends and classmates.” (www.consumerreports.org, 2007).

If you are looking to buy a Ripstik, check the original Ripstik Caster Board or the gold standard of Ripstiks, the Ripstik G.
