The original replacement twist grip throttle with 4 wires (Red, White, Yellow, Orange) for the Razor MX500 (Version 1-9) and MX650 (Version 1-7) has been discontinued. In order to upgrade to a newer throttle, you must purchase this Throttle Conversion Kit. To find your bike's version number, see important note below.
This Razor MX500/MX650 Electrical Conversion Kit contains:
1 - Control Module
1 - 5-wire throttle
The Kit replaces the Razor Dirt Rocket MX500 & MX650 control module model # CT-312C1 (also known as HB3650TYD4-FS1) and 4-wire throttle with the newest MX500/MX650 control module (CT-312C1-3 /HB3650TYD-FS) & 5-wire throttle. If upgrading a MX500 version 1-9 or the MX650 version 1-7, the module and throttle must be upgraded simultaneously in order to work. This kit will allow you to make the upgrade.
**IMPORTANT NOTE: Razor Bike versions can be determined by locating your bar code ID on the battery cover and/or on the bottom of the bike frame. The 7th and 8th digit in the series will tell you the version of your product: 01=version 1; 02=version 2; 09=version 9, and so on. Please be sure you identify your version before placing an order for a throttle.
